An evening of food, fun and country music!
The evening will begin with a full Bar-B-Q dinner with all the trimmings, a visit from Donna Marie Miller, author of a book detailing the history of the Broken Spoke, and music by Ben on the guitar. We will then get into the swing of things in the Broken Spoke Dance Hall for live music, Austin style. Dance Lessons are available for $8.00 a person!!!

is the world’s leading retailer of natural/organic
foods. Founded in Austin in 1980 with a staff of 19 people, many of whom lived and worked in the store, the store we will visit is the Flagship Store in the Whole Foods chain. We will experience the entire store, top to bottom, with a guided tour, learn about the history and development of the store and enjoy a catered lunch, the WHOLE FOODS way.
6:00 p.m. - Dinner Cruise on Lady Bird Lake
Time: Departure - 6:00 p.m.
Location: Hyatt Regency Hotel, 208 Barton Springs.
Cost: $55 per person (includes tax and gratuity)
Ahoy Mates! Join your friends, fellow American Lawyers Alliance members and members of the local Austin Lawyers Auxiliary for a two hour dinner cruise aboard a double decker cruise boat. Whether you sit Port Side or Starboard, you will enjoy views of the vibrant downtown Austin skyline and sunset views on Lady Bird Lake, formerly known as Town Lake. This scenic lake is one of the capitol city’s treasures. It was re-named in 2007 for the former first lady, who helped make this area beautiful.
You will find the Capital Cruise
dock nestled on the shores behind the Hyatt Regency Hotel, located at 208 Barton Springs Rd., Austin. The Captain will make sure that all is ship shape for us to enjoy our Closed Loop Sail and return us safely back to our Port of Call, where we boarded the boat. Please feel free to invite your spouse and friends to this event if you choose. Event pricing includes the cruise, meal, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, dessert, fabulous views and wonderful company.
